Day 90

Our city tour of Seoul started with a trip to the Gyeongbokgung Palace with our guide giving us the historical background to it as we walked around.

It was an interesting place in that it has had quite a turbulent past being demolished and rebuilt a few times. There is still one building from the 1867 that is still there but many others have since been rebuilt.

From there we went to the Seoul N Tower or Namsan Tower as it is also called which is an observation and communication tower. We had a great view looking over Seoul from the observation deck but as usual, taking photos through the glass does not produce the best results.

After that it was a quick look through the old markets before retreating to the hotel.
