Day 59

Early on the ride today we encountered the roadworks we expected, but luckily for us the early start meant that there was not many other vehicles about, however, the conditions were not so good as there was fresh snow all around which looked quite picturesque, but there was limited visibility and I was not surprised to look down and see my instruments reading the temperature at a chilly 0.5 degrees.

But as the day progressed it got brighter and warmer and I did manage to stop a few times for photos but I was keen to press on to Lhasa as we had three nights there and felt in need of a rest.
